As I say goodbye to twenty-twenty five, and welcome in the new year, I created this montage/short film giving flowers to all of the beautiful fleeting moments spent alongside friends, family, and the people I love. Slow, still moments, juxtaposing the bustling nature of reality helped collage these memories together to represent the simultaneous flow of life. I increased the saturation in the first video to display just how vivid and vibrant these moments in time have been! Small clips, mostly live photos that captured about three seconds video, collages I made, photos I took, the actual times I intentionally hit RECORD... these are some of the times I could remember to cherish the moment! I typically forget to photograph or record blissful moments in time because I am enamored with existing, so I let my memory and writing do the talking.

Seeing these woven memories in black and white helps me immortalize these cinematic experiences that composed the mundanity I associate with life. There are not many times in real life that we see our environment in fully grayscale, to be fair, only when it is night time & with very minimal or no natural lighting Mundanity is beautiful, though, so are the remarkable rose-colored memories I hold onto.
